THE IMPORTANCE OF ACOUSTIC TREATMENT
Acoustic treatment is essential for a high-end system build. Not only does it reject road noise but prevents panels from emitting a sound signature of their own. We all know the dreaded sound of an annoying vibration when trying to immerse ourselves in our favorite songs.
When applying treatment products, we strive for an OEM level finish. Extra time is spent making calculated cuts and precise placements so that the finished product looks as if it was installed by the manufacturer.
DOOR PREPORATION

Thermal acoustic door prep vastly improves mid-bass performance. The external skin is treated with panel dampening material before a layer of 10mm thermal acoustic foam is applied. We then move on to sealing the service holes on the inner skin, vastly improving the panels rigidity and creating a sealed environment for the mid-bass drivers. Furthermore, we apply an absorption material behind the speaker to absorb back waves generated by the inward cone pulsations.

Door cards are also treated, isolating contact points and dampening key areas. this process changes with every vehicle, allowing for different tolerances and designs.
Don't forget to isolate clips, plugs and hard contact areas too. This aids in eliminating further rattles.
Stripping out the interior allows best access to every nook and cranny. We treat every surface in the vehicle with panel dampening material then apply the appropriate secondary layers on top. Panel dampening material alone is NOT designed to absorb road noise.

FLOOR
After applying the dampening layer, the floor gets topped with Mass Noise Liner. This is a thick, multi layered product that heavily aids in the rejection of road noise. It makes an enormous difference on longer trips.

ROOF AND REAR WALL
The rear wall, roof and doors all receive similar treatment. a layer of dampening material followed by a thermal acoustic layer.
